There is nothing like the first cup of coffee on a lazy Sunday morning. I'm freezing this morning, probably because it's ridiculously cold outside, and I feel like climbing back under the covers with a good book. And I probably will do just that.
You see, this will be a major adjustment week. My kids will be crazy from the time change. Not looking forward to that because their normal bedtime at 8pm just moved to 9. That is not only an hour lost of sleep...that is an hour of my alone time that I will miss. Every day!
But, oh how I love the daylight. I love to be able to see until 9pm!! I love that my daffodils are in full bloom and my clematis is greening up. I'm anxiously awaiting the warm sunny mornings so that I can have that first cup of coffee on the deck and watch the birds. What a wonder spring is!! I love watching day to day as new life emerges right before my eyes. I can't wait to get my hands in the earth and plant some flowers and my garden. HOORAY!! Spring is here and I'm glad.
